Right....

Recently on the Oprah Winfrey show Obama graded his own performance for his first year as president of the United states. In true shameless fashion he gives himself a "solid b-plus".

So why shameless?? Without playing the Blame Bush card, in his first year in office Obama presides over the following:

A record $1.42 trillion deficit, triple the Bush 2008 number
A 10% unemployment rate almost 20% if you count part-time workers and those who have just given up looking for work.
A record low approval rating of 45% for his first year in office compared to presidents past.
A record level spending amount in his first year totaling 3.5 trillion dollars.
A house and senate with majority rule that under his watch have fumbled about attempting to pass his own baby, health care reform.
A Nobel Peace Prize which he accepts within 30 days of committing 30,000 US troops to Afghanistan.

God help us. Just where would we be if this guy thought himself earning a grade of C or less.

Forget Bush. Lets just imagine someone other than Obama doing things a bit differently. Maybe actually caring about the citizens of this country.

Its not all bad though, I think he has also given the most speeches, had the most parties and taken the most weekend getaways of any president in history.
